My favorite line from Tom and Kate’s wedding came from one of the groomsmen who approached my second shooter and I at the reception and said, (pointing to my second), “You’re a super-cool dude, (then pointing to me) and you’re the best wedding photographer I’ve ever seen! You have to give me your card for when I get married!”
Of course, I proceeded to forget to give him my card, but it’s not the first time I’ve gotten this type of comment at a wedding and I always find it interesting how people decide something like that without ever seeing a single photo… It just really makes me proud of how hard I must work compared to others!
As for Tom and Kate, there isn’t much to say about them that a person isn’t going to get from seeing these images. Kate is a gorgeous, sweet, playful bride who is adored by everyone around her, especially Tom. Tom looks clean-cut rocking more facial than my hubby, which is seriously hard to do! All joking aside, Tom clearly has a great sense of humor and is amazing at making Kate smile. The Willow Creek Winery in Cape May was the perfect venue for their spring wedding day, and I truly enjoyed shooting there for the first time.
So, without further blather, below are the photos, and here’s to you, Mr. Groomsman, I hope that they live up!
