When I first met Lara’s mom while Lara was getting ready, she said something that kind of stuck with me for the rest of the day. She said, “This is a going to be very a happy wedding… I know most weddings are happy, but this one is especially happy.” And from the minute I arrived to the minute I left ten hours later, this statement rang 100% true. There were points in the day when you could just feel how loved these two people are, as both individuals and as a couple. Watching their two families interact with each other so affectionately was also extremely special, and it was almost like they had been waiting to become “official” for as long as Lara and Paul had.

The couple’s venue, Aldie Mansion, in Doylestown Township, PA, is also quickly rising to the top of my favorites list. There are so many beautiful spaces to photograph both inside and out, and I could have easily taken portraits there all day.

Thank you so much to Lara & Paul for your kindness, patience, and your amazing sense of humor, all of which kept me totally engrossed in you and your guests the entire day through my lens. Finally, shout out to Sean for second shooting this with me… we captured some seriously impactful black and white images at this reception, if I do say so myself.

Congratulations again you two, for inviting me to be part of such an incredibly happy day!
