When it came down to a backyard alternative for their actual nuptials, they saw it as an opportunity to be creative and have a little fun with it! With Halloween just around the corner (one of my all-time favorite holidays by the way), they decided to make it a “costume party” with a sci-fi/fantasy theme. Even their vendors, which was basically just me and an assistant, were invited to dress up. Heck yes I was all about that!
I felt so at home with this lovely bunch, they even let me toss around the old frisbee with them for a bit. And when a surprise guest showed up toward the end of the party, and the tears started flowing, there was no question in my mind that no matter how big of a party they have next year, THIS will always be the REAL wedding day.
