I have to hand it to Kathy and Danny on their super unique vision for a “Save The Date” engagement photo using the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville. They literally decided to put their wedding announcement “in lights” up on the marquee and take pictures in front of it. I immediately loved the idea and mentioned going for an “Old Hollywood Vibe.” They crushed it with the choice of clothing and hair for Kathy, and I came to the session with a few of my own playful ideas for using the signage. The photos turned out even better than what I was picturing, and I am so in love with this Save The Date for them!
We didn’t want the session to be too “one note,” however, so after shooting around a bit in Phoenixville we headed over to Valley Forge Park for a couple images with the chapel. The beautiful architecture outside really reminded me of Princeton University! Finally, we changed outfits for a more casual “Fall” feel for the last few photos. We milked the last bit of late-November color out of the parks surroundings, and by then everyone was officially hungry and freezing!

Kathy and Danny, thank you so much for having me capture your unique vision for you. I hope it was worth ending the session as starving popsicles and you got your warm Italian food to thaw you out after!
