Little did we know when we first planned Stormy and Taylor’s engagement session for early February that we’d end up trying to work around weeks upon weeks of dangerously frigid temperatures. As the freezing weather carried on with no signs of thawing out, Stormy finally came up with the idea to do the whole session at her private home in Reading.
At first, I was a little apprehensive to do something out of my comfort zone, but the more we looked at similar types of sessions online, the more all of us fell in love with the idea of these photos. By the time the session finally rolled around, we had universally decided we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! After one forced reschedule due to another recent dumping of snow, we had the pleasure to end up shooting this session on actual Valentine’s Day.
I was so excited about the images we came away with, I even ended up making a unique color preset to highlight the cozy, warm nature of the indoor setting and I absolutely ADORE how they turned out!
Stormy and Taylor, it was such a pleasure celebrating your love on a holiday designated just for that! I can literally feel it in these images, and can’t wait to work with you again for the wedding this summer!
